CHILI COOKOFF & AUCTION NETS $14,500

This year's Mike & Dot's II/Budweiser Chili Cookoff & Auction netted $14,500 for PACFI,
and we send out a huge "Thank You!" to Bill and Leslie Cooper and All the Gang at Mike & Dot's II;
the E.H. Kleckner's/Budweiser staff; the chili chefs and judges, and all our
supporters who donated items or their time and effort to make this event a huge success!.

Bill Cooper, auctioneer extraordinaire, sold 140 items in about 3 hours!

Burke P. Bear was proclaimed "The Pennsylvania Ambassador for Love, Peace, Having Fun, and
Curing Cystic Fibrosis" in a unanimous 199-0 vote by the PA House of Representatives in June, 1999.
"Burke's Tour" is taking the traveling ambassador through each state and several world countries.
So far he has visited nearly every state and 17 world countries where he spreads his ambassador's
message: To love each other, to live peacefully, to have fun, and to help cure CF.
